Rotating Your Tires
One of our more popular services is tire rotation. Rotating your tires ensures that uneven tread wear won’t occur, therefore allowing them to last longer. The longer your tires last, the less money you’re spending! To get your heavy-duty commercial vehicle’s tires rotated today, give us a call and we’ll schedule you an appointment.
Flat or Deflated Tires
Just because you’ve got a flat tire doesn’t mean the tire is ruined. A lot of drivers will immediately buy new tires, but we’re here to tell you that you don’t have to. Just like a regular vehicle, heavy-duty tires can be patched or plugged too. This keeps your tire in service and your money in your pocket.
Tire Maintenance Tips
There are a lot of ways in which you can extend the life of your tires. Firstly, always run the appropriate amount of air. Every tire is slightly different, but all should have manufacturer specifications and instructions printed on the side. Tire air pressure is typically measured in Pounds per Square Inch, or PSI for short. Under-inflated tires will wear out faster because more of the tire is touching the ground. Another way to keep your tires in good shape is to not overload them. Every tire has a weight rating that should not be passed. Not only does it become dangerous, but your tire will wear out very quickly.
